CUSTOM RUBBER EXTRUSIONS, FROM FORMULATION TO FINAL PRODUCT
Sperry & Rice has been a leader in the custom extruded rubber industry since the 1940s. We offer innovative rubber engineering expertise, advanced manufacturing processes, and comprehensive quality controls to produce precision rubber and cellular components.
We manage each step of the manufacturing process – from design, to manufacturing, to finishing.
Our engineers can help you determine which material is best suited to your project, which can vary widely, depending on your application, so it’s important to work with a company that has been in the rubber business as long as we have.
We Do It All
Our in-house engineers can take your drawings and specifications to custom develop your custom extruded rubber components and make suggestions related to compounds and cost. Then we mix the rubber, make the tooling, and extrude it, form it, and cure it. We can also provide services like hot or cold splicing, cut to length, apply identification or orientation markings, notch, tape, punch and die cut, and install clamps. Then we package and ship your components, and if needed, maintain your inventory at our facility.
From concept to completion, we do it all!
Rubber Mandrel Forming
Our quality, durable, mandrel formed hoses provide industry leading cost-effectiveness and our flexible production capabilities allow large production runs or smaller, short runs.
Rubber Mixing and Compounding
We mix it then we make it! We offer hundreds of tried and true rubber compound formulations, or we can develop a custom formula for you.
