We are currently hiring for our Production Operator Full-Time position

Job Description – Production Operator (Full-Time)

The general production position performs all tasks involved in the production of the company’s products in any/all of the production areas of the plant including mixing, extrusion, forming, finishing, etc.

Essential Functions

• Understand and successfully meet production and quality targets
• Complete daily production reporting neatly and accurately
• Perform all work as assigned by the department supervisor
• Follow all standard operating procedures for the department
• Report any productivity or quality issue to the supervisor of the area

Requirements*

• Able to read manufacturing specifications & blueprints to ensure proper quality
• Teamwork oriented
• Ability to move/lift 50 lbs. as needed
• Essential reading, writing, and math skills
• Ability to work independently or with a team with solid communication skills
• Strong attention to detail for quality, production, and safety purposes
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Able to work on feet for extended periods of time
• Work overtime as required
• Follow all safety procedures
